Who we Are

We are a community based organization headquartered in Sembabule district - Uganda serving 3 other districts (Lyantonde, Bukomansimbi and Mubende) to change the way our communities tackle poverty and build a culture of social innovation and entreprenuership.

The Village Initiative will be more than just a "place," rather a dynamic community where education partners, corporate entities, and philanthropic organizations come together to create a bright future for people in our communities. We believe in the power of ideas and aim to be a hub where new, community-changing ideas are born while empowering children, women and youth.

To create awareness about financial inclusion for women and youth.
To promote access to quality education.
To assist and connect youth to jobs.

PROGRAMME AREAS

IMPERIAL JUNIOR SCHOOL

We help children access low cost high quality education in our local community through our school (Imperial Junior School)

FINANCIAL INCLUSION TRAINING

In partnership with Teleka a financial Inclusion software provider - we help women and youth in our communities start and manage Saving Groups and co-operatives to raise capital and scale.

Youth Economic Empowerment

We are a youth led organization and we care so much on helping youth harness the opportunities in Entreprenuership.
